Using fun stories and activities, kids learn how each chess piece moves and begin thinking strategically - and thanks to the silly stories, it's easier for them to remember what they're taught. Custom pieces convert back and forth between "characters" and standard pieces, and the double-sided game board can be used for both standard chess play and story-based play.
