Estes Recovery Wadding is a must for flying model rockets. The Recovery Wadding protects the parachute from the hot exhaust "pop" that separates the nose cone so the parachute (or streamer) can deploy for recovery. Recovery Wadding must be replaced after every flight. The number of sheets required is determined by the rocket's diameter - check the directions that came with the kit for the correct number of sheets required. Approximately 75 sheets per package.
